The challenge
The organizing committee decided to create the Thematic Pavilions of Expo 2020 in Dubai in order to allow countries that had never participated at a Universal Expo to have their own space to promote their offer.
From DOMINION we took care of the turnkey integration of the audiovisual systems of the Category A Thematic Pavilion, which consisted of 21 smaller pavilions, each one of them adapted to the requirements of each country and distributed in 3 areas of the Expo: Sustainability , Opportunity and Mobility.

This project has been the sum of 21 "mini-projects" that included the provision and installation of audio, video and spectacular lighting equipment -including display screens, flexible LED screens, ambient audio inside the pavilions, projections and screens interactive-, light effects, etc.
In addition, a user interface was designed for each of the 21 pavilions for managing and updating multimedia content during the Expo. Specifically, these Category A pavilions were those with the largest budget and required more complex technological and audiovisual solutions adapted to the needs of each case.
Results
The project was completed according to the plan. It was ready before the inauguration and is already one of the Expo 2020 main attractions.
