The investment group INSSEC sets up DOMINION, intended to be a leading company in the technology sector.
Dominion designed and implemented the entire communications network for the Metro Bilbao line 2. The project began in 1999 and continues to this day with each of its different technologies being updated.
DOMINION has been involved in laying fibre optics for some of the main operators in Spain, contributing to this being one of the countries with the best internet connection in the world.
DOMINION performed the construction and technological equipping, as well as setting up one of the largest hospitals in Chile, the La Reina Military Hospital in Santiago de Chile.
DOMINION supplied, installed and commissioned the tsunami warning systems in various regions of Chile.
The exit price was 2.74 €/share and ended the year at 3.13 €/share (+13%), being the only new IPO that ended the year with a positive result. The North American companies ICC and CDI are purchased to strengthen industrial activity in that market.
Dominion performed the engineering and construction of the largest self-supply solar power plant in Mexico, the Kaixo Solar Plant in Ascensión (Chihuahua) with 65,000Kw of power installed.
