Results
The complete Float Glass Furnace was set into operation in under 6 months, in which time more than 10,500 tons of refractory was installed and the hot work sealing was performed.

With more than 90 years of experience in the glass industry, Dominion rebuilt the F520 float glass furnace for Saint Gobain in Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland. The French, Spanish and Polish divisions of Dominion collaborated to complete the capacities.
The La Maruca plant furnace suffered a severe fire on 28 September 2008 as a result of an accident that happened when a refractory part was being replaced. The purpose was to rebuild the furnace so that is could be returned to production operation as soon as possible. During 6 months of construction, our teams were mobilized on site, for both the cold and hot works, after 5 months of preparation.
