The Challenge

It consisted of the interior and exterior repair of a 54-metre high brick chimney, with the aim of prolonging its service life. The phases included cleaning, painting, inspection and repair of components, as well as the installation of lightning conductors and night beacons.

The project began with a thorough cleaning of the shaft and metal elements, followed by the application of a primer coat and two coats of paint to ensure protection and durability. Subsequently, the inner duct was cleaned and inspected, where the damaged trommels were repaired. In addition, cleaning and repairs were carried out, culminating in the installation of lightning conductors and night-time beaconing to ensure the safety and visibility of the project.
