The objective of this classification is to recognize and reward the efforts of all those companies in the Basque Country that demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities. The ranking has two categories.
At DOMINION we have been awarded in the large company category together with Arteche and Euskaltel. In the SME category, Informa Consulting, Guggenheim Bilbao and Graphenea lead the classification.
This ranking not only reflects companies' commitment to gender equality, it also serves as a management tool, helping them implement effective systems and raise awareness about the importance of equality in strategic talent management.
To prepare this ranking, Woman Forward Foundation's cloud platform has been used, and specifically the Business Equality Index, which evaluates different areas of equality: personnel search, selection and recruitment, promotion, salary compensation, co-responsibility and sexual harassment measures, as well as the percentage of gender diversity in top decision-making positions. The results obtained aim to indicate which areas need changes and what can be done to improve the management of equality in organizations.
Diversity at DOMINION
Diversity and equal opportunities are one of our 8 Pillars of Sustainable Development. We believe that diversity makes us stronger. That is why we celebrate and also promote it in all aspects (generational, cultural, gender, socio-economic or other capacities) How? Creating a work environment where everyone can speak their voices and contribute to the development of the company.
These last years, during the European Diversity Month, we have launched awareness campaigns for the entire team and promoted several initiatives such as joining the STEAM Alliance for female talent, signing the European Diversity Charter in 7 countries (Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Poland, Portugal and Slovakia) or participating in the Target Gender Equality program of the Global Compact.
We also joined Redi, the first ecosystem of companies and professionals in Spain that works to promote safe and respectful work environments for all people, regardless of their identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.
