14 / 05 / 2024

Three of the six accelerated projects at BQUO will continue to be linked to DOMINION after completing the six-month immersive program.

After six months of training and mentoring, this morning we presented the final projects of the first edition of BQUO, DOMINION's talent and projects development program.

Participants from Colombia, Mexico, Morocco and Malaga have lived for six months in an acceleration residency with personalized executive training and mentoring and business support for the development of their projects, in a format designed by DOMINION to promote talent with high capabilities and entrepreneurial projects. The participants have presented the results of their work to the company's management team, also accompanied by representatives of public and academic institutions.

In his speech, the CEO of DOMINION Mikel Barandiaran positively valued the first edition which, in his words, “helps DOMINION to commit to its own model of talent promotion, both internal and external. We have been able to contrast that as a company we can play a more active role to accelerate business projects and careers. BQUO is the seed of a new, different way of understanding talent as a driver of business development.

The Program Committee has resolved to extend this support in the case of three of the projects, in response to their transformative potential and development opportunities.

  • Adsol Tech. The project born in Malaga by four entrepreneurs (Juanjo Vallejo, Raúl Ramos, María Martínez and Ayman Bouhachi) is based on the development of their own model for the reuse of water in water communities, following the model of the energy communities, based on desalination technologies.
  • Ximena Cedillo (Mexico) will join the DOMINION team in Mexico to continue developing solutions based on Artificial Intelligence within the company.
  • Samuel Naranjo (Colombia) has developed a personalized training and treatment environment to address behavioral disorders through Augmented Reality. Samuel will join DOMINION to apply Augmented Reality solutions in other environments linked to health or occupational safety.

The rest of the projects that have participated in this first edition will continue their development individually and their promoters will join the BQUO collaboration network. A space for connection and collaboration between all participants who go through the program and the company.

Roberto Tobillas, general director of DOMINION, has participated as a mentor to one of the participants in BQUO and has highlighted the wealth of "accompanying young people with enormous potential who represent a generation equipped with a transformative vision, with new ways of seeing the world." of the company. Nowadays, all companies need to have antennas to attract talent everywhere, and to do this you need to be open and let yourself be surprised. DOMINION is a global company that has entrepreneurship in its DNA and this experience has helped us equip ourselves with more tools to develop this talent, wherever it comes from.

The deadline for submitting applications for the second edition is open until June 28

Patricia Berjón, director of BQUO, has explained the details of the second edition, which was announced during the event. As she recalled, the objective of BQUO is for participants to develop their own entrepreneurial projects and carry out challenges proposed by the organization, connected to DOMINION's main sectors of activity: industry, energy, telecommunications and infrastructure, with a clear focus on improving sustainability.

To do this, they will have a personalized training itinerary, a mentor from the DOMINION management team, access to all the company's resources and a monthly financial award as well as financing for their stay and travel during the six months that the program lasts.

In this second edition, in addition, those selected by the Committee will coexist during their stay in Bilbao with DOMINION intrapreneurs, people who are part of the company's professional group who will be selected to develop internal challenges for the company. As Berjón has highlighted, "we are committed to internal and external entrepreneurial talent, and we believe that the hybridization of cultures, origins and disciplines will be a catalyst for DOMINION."
