Leading the Charge: DOMINION's Role in Spain's Electric Mobility Revolution

At DOMINION, we are positioned as key players in the development of electric charging infrastructure in Spain, at an important time for the energy transition. The electrification of transport is of strategic importance to meet the sustainability targets set by the European Union. With the ban on the sale of combustion vehicles from 2035, the need for a solid network of charging points is urgent. At DOMINION, we are positioned to lead this change thanks to our experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructures.

Given the national target of reaching 600,000 chargers by 2035, we are expanding our presence both nationally and internationally. In this context, the collaboration with Endesa in the installation of charging points on public bus lines in cities such as Barcelona and Madrid are a good example of our commitment to the electrification of mobility and decarbonization. The importance of this transition not only has an impact on environmental sustainability, but also represents a business opportunity for DOMINION, transforming the current model and positioning us at the forefront of innovation in electric mobility.

As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, at DOMINION we understand that one of the best ways to demonstrate and communicate our positive impact is through our activities towards our clients and the internal actions we take.

The energy transition, driven by electrification, is a key factor in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In line with SDG 7, which seeks to ensure access to affordable and clean energy, we have established ourselves as a benchmark in the installation of electrical infrastructures. Our focus on transport electrification contributes to SDG 9, promoting sustainable and innovative infrastructure.

In addition, our involvement in electric mobility projects supports SDG 11, fostering more sustainable and better connected cities. Through these actions, among many others, we are helping to build a greener and more efficient future, leading the transition to sustainable mobility through tangible evidence of our firm commitment to the sustainability of the planet.
