During this past year, our team in Peru delivered 3 tons of cardboard, plastic, and recyclable paper to the ANIQUEM Foundation. A donation that allowed the integral financing of 4 therapies for children in rehabilitation in this foundation.
This is just one of the initiatives that has allowed our team in Peru to win, for the second year in a row, the X Contractor Challenge Award given by Enel X, this time in the Environmental Care category. In 2022 they received the award for their initiatives to promote Health & Safety at the worplace.
A recognition to all the initiatives launched by our team during 2022. Among them training courses, awareness programs on the field, environmental campaigns such as Beach Cleaning, promotion of recycling, environmental inspections and recognition of the crews for the achievement of their environmental objectives.
Just this last year, our team in Peru is already reusing more than 90% of the materials and has managed to increase its reuse by 50% compared to 2021.
An effort that shows our team's commitment to sustainability and the circular economy that has allowed us to increase environmental awareness among our workforce.
