Throughout history, many women have broken the mold, becoming the first to dedicate themselves to certain professions, study certain careers or make great contributions to the world. At DOMINION we have some female pioneers who have join certain jobs at our organization.
On International Women's Day we wanted to give a voice to some of them: Crystal Manríquez, Technician in the Fiber Optic Maintenance area in Chile; Karen Salcedo, Crew Leader in the Conections Area in Peru; Alix Andrea León, Coordinator of Commercial Processes in Colombia; Lourdes Ríos, Vertical Works Technician in our Tall Structures division in Spain and Cristina Leiva, Line Master in the Electrical Networks area in Chile.
Women in charge of electricity grid operations in Colombia
Other pioneers are also our colleagues in charge of the maintenance and operations of electrical networks in Colombia who carry out their daily tasks on their motorcycles. In addition to the risks of their work, every day they face road hazards and adverse weather conditions, which forces them to always take extreme safety measures, counteracting each situation and wearing the appropriate equipment to protect themselves.
In short, we are really proud to have colleagues like them who dare to lead the way for the rest and who are a reference for their dedication and commitment to health and safety offering the best service to our clients.
At DOMINION we firmly believe that without a diverse team, we would not be able to innovate and continue to provide that differential value to our clients. For this reason, we continue to be committed to equal opportunities and the promotion of diversity.
