From the 11th to the 15th of June, Hannover hosts the CEBIT fair (Center for Information Technology and the Office), an event that is expected to be attended by around 200,000 attendees and in which DOMINION participates along with the Diputación Foral of Bizkaia.

Among the events that take place in the event is the presentation that is carried out by Ignacio Urigüen (Data Analytics Manager) on Wednesday, June 13th at 1.30 pm, where he talks about 'Challenges and opportunities in IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) '; and on Thursday at 10.30am, when Ignacio participates with the paper 'Big data architectures for industrial environments'.

DOMINION has a long history in the world of digital transformation, carrying out its activity in two operational segments: services and solutions. In both, it places a special focus on the potential of the selective digitalization vector of progress and growth and response to the needs linked to the digital revolution. Trained to offer its clients a comprehensive proposal of multi-technical services and engineering solutions in different sectors and geographies, its one stop shop transversal offer is characterized by being comprehensive, global, multisectorial, solvent and crossed.

A fair with a great history

Organized by Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG), the event began in 1970 as part of the Hanover Industrial Fair, and since 1986 it had its own personality as the most important computer, information technology, telecommunications, software and services fair in the world. In 2018 it was completely restructured, and it went from a fair concept to the concept of a total event: Europe's Business Festival for Innovation and Digitalization.

This year, the Diputación Foral of Bizkaia goes to the CEBIT 2018 with a representative delegation of the ICTA sector of Bizkaia to CEBIT 2018 in order to position companies in the European market and establish commercial and institutional relations for the development of their business. To this end, it has invited integrated ICT companies in ESLE and GAIA, based in Bizkaia, to be part of the commercial delegation that attends CEBIT 2018.
