DOMINION joins the IBEX ESG index

20 / 10 / 2023

This index measures the degree of compliance of listed companies in environmental, social and governance aspects.

DOMINION is one of the 47 companies that has joined the IBEX ESG, another index with which BME seeks to highlight and support companies that promote sustainable business practices in Spain.

We thus join another BME ESG index after being part of the IBEX Gender Equality since last year, which measures gender representation on the boards of directors and in the senior management of listed companies.

Among the eligibility criteria for the IBEX ESG are: being part of the IBEX 35 or the IBEX Medium Cap and having an ESG rating equal to or greater than C+, according to the 12 possible levels ranging from A+ to D-. Additionally, they must comply with the United Nations Global Impact Principles and meet certain exclusion criteria related to business activities critical to sustainability.

The index will be reviewed annually in September, and the methodology and information required to evaluate the impact of the companies will be provided by Inrate. It is completed by these 46 Spanish companies: The initial composition of the index is made up of these 47 Spanish companies: Acciona, Acciona Energía, Acerinox, ACS, Almirall, Amadeus, Applus, Atresmedia, CAF, Sabadell, Bankinter, BBVA, Caixabank, Cellnex, Cie , Corporación Alba, Ebro, Edreams, Enagas, Ence, Faes, Ferrovial, Fluidra, Catalana Oeste, Gestamp, Grenergy, Grifols, Iberdrola, Inditex, Colonial, Rovi, Linea Directa, Mapfre, Meliá, Merlin Properties, Pharma Mar, Prosegur, Redeia, Sacyr, Santander, Solaria, Técnicas Reunidas, Telefonica, Unicaja, Vidrala and Viscofan.

Our commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is a key aspect of DOMINION's new Strategic Plan. On the one hand, we help our clients to be more efficient and sustainable, accompanying companies and communities in their transformation processes.

DOMINION has already doubled its eligibility with 32% of its activity in line with the European taxonomy and aims for almost all of its activity to be sustainable as the 6 taxonomic objectives are developed.

On the other hand, we maintain and reinforce our commitment to being a more sustainable company, maximizing our positive impact on relationships with stakeholders and mitigating or eliminating any risk or negative impact.
