The Challenge

In 2021 we were awarded 45MW in the renewable energy auction in Spain. This began the calendar programmed by the country to auction 19.44 GW of renewables until 2025. A great step in fulfilling the decarbonization commitments included in the Paris Agreement and in the National Integrated Climate Energy Plan (Pniec).

Since the beginning of the construction we have been in charge of the turnkey development and commissioning of the park with a contracted power of 37.8MW that will inject more than 72,465 MWh/year into the network and will avoid the emission of more of 24,000 tons of CO2 per year. For the construction, which involved an investment of €30.5M, a total of 57,312 solar panels were used.

Results

This park is the first one we completed in the country and has been generating energy since July 2023. Recently, within the divestment strategy of DOMINION's portfolio of renewable assets and our positioning as a facilitator of turnkey renewable projects For IPP clients, we announced its sale to Renewables Japan Co, for more than €37M.
