Strategic Agreement for the Development of 74 MW in Photovoltaic Projects in Italy

DOMINION strengthens its leadership in the renewable infrastructure sector with the signing of a key agreement with EQUITA Capital for the investment in four photovoltaic projects: two in Sicily and two in Basilicata, with a total combined capacity of 74 MW.

The agreement includes the participation of the EQUITA Green Impact Fund (EGIF), which will increase its capital in each project to reach a 75% stake. This fund, classified as Article 9 under the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), ensures strict oversight of ESG policies throughout all phases of development and construction.

In this way, we reinforce our leadership position in the renewable energy sector, solidifying our role as facilitators and infrastructure providers for IPPs. Through our expertise in the design and execution of turnkey projects, which we then manage alongside strategic partners with majority stakes, we strengthen our role as a key player in the energy transition.

Furthermore, this agreement marks the first investment by EGIF, which aims to reach 200 million euros in assets under management by Q4 2025. The model also includes strategies to optimize the sale of generated energy, such as corporate PPAs, merchant options, and public auctions with GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici).

“This alliance is a clear demonstration of our strategy in the renewable infrastructure sector. We are focused on the generation of value un our ‘360 Projects’ segment, through the development and construction of new renewable plants, while we reach agreements with partners interested in owning and operating the infrastructure in the long term. Our objective is to continue to seek partners like EQUITA to drive and complement our positioning, whilst supporting the energy transition”.
