Dominion focuses on setting up the new temporary hospital at FIRA Barcelona
The company has been working closely with the Catalan health authority to create the temporary Fira hospital in Barcelona.

DOMINION's Catalan multi-service team is focused on the urgent conversion of the pavilions of FIRA Barcelona into a temporary hospital. The team's multi-disciplinary skills are making it possible to carry out a range of work to install systems and utilities, including electrical and mechanical systems for the medical equipment, gas and communications for healthcare purposes and others.

The temporary hospital in the exhibition centre, known as Fira Salut, has been set up in record time on the centre's site in Hospitalet, its most modern and best-equipped with technology. The hospital now has over 300 beds available, though there is the possibility of expanding it to up to 2,000 beds. Its purpose is to treat non-acute covid-19 patients and relieve the pressure on hospitals in Barcelona.

DOMINION is proud to be supplying both field and support equipment for the vital work being done at this difficult time. We would like to thank all the workers at the FIRA and in the Catalan health service for the enormous efforts they are putting in to make this project a reality, and in particular all the healthcare staff who are giving their all at this time for everybody's health.

DOMINION is emphasising its availability to the different institutions to take part in other similar projects where its technical and technological know-how can make all the difference. Since last week it has also been cooperating at the field hospital in the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid, where it has installed its FarmaTools hospital pharmacy management tool.
