Innovation and sustainability in our candidates' projects

At DOMINION, innovation and sustainability are the pillars that drive us to generate transformative solutions. For this reason, we share the start of the second edition of BQUO, our DOMINION professional and entrepreneurial talent accelerator, with an outstanding international participation with candidates coming from Peru, Mexico and the U.S. This diversity of nationalities enriches the programme, bringing different perspectives and approaches to face global challenges.

This year, participants develop initiatives ranging from the circular economy to the optimisation of industrial processes, facing global challenges such as waste management, energy efficiency and operations improvement. With the support of DOMINION's expert mentors, each candidate will be equipped with the tools, knowledge and guidance needed to transform their ideas into successful projects:

  • Gama Construction:
Gabriela Bernal and Alan Romero, lead a project that uses recycled waste to manufacture construction panels, tackling global challenges such as waste management and decent housing. Their goal is to make Gama a self-sustainable company by 2025.

  • Bioa²ma :
Ricardo Contreras, develops a circular economy model based on composting organic waste using bacteria, fungi and plants to create sustainable biofertilizers in high demand in agriculture.

  • MaxREFRACT:
Luis Fernando Larios, works on the reuse of demolished refractory materials from the steel industry, using advanced technology to reduce CO₂ emissions and energy consumption.

  • Optimization of the Mobile Degassing Process:
Danuska Alzamora, optimizes the industrial degassing process, maximizing the energy utilization of waste gases.

  • Inspection with Drones and LIDAR:
Eric Morales, proposes an innovative solution based on drones and artificial vision to inspect metal structures, improving safety and reducing costs in industrial maintenance.

Each of these projects not only aims to innovate in its specific area, but also to contribute to building a more sustainable future, in line with DOMINION's values and objectives.

DOMINION's management team is actively involved in the mentoring of the participants, providing constant support from the initial assessment to the accompaniment in the deployment of the projects and challenges. In this second edition, we have the valuable experience of the following mentors: Jon Baraia-Etxaburu, Rodrigo López, Jorge Rodríguez, Raúl Arroita and Manuel Prados. With their guidance, the candidates have the necessary support to take their ideas to the next level and generate a real impact.
