We Contribute to the SDGs of the Global Compact
One step further in our commitment towards sustainable development
United Nations Global Compact
DOMINION officially joined the United Nations Global Compact in December 2018. This commitment obliges Dominion to uphold its 10 universally recognized Principles and to act as a mediator to contribute towards the fulfillment of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
What is the 2030 Agenda?
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development arose from the commitment of the member States of the United Nations with the main focus being the protection of people, the planet and prosperity.
It highlights the need to promote alliances between different public-private organisations to help find solutions and better practices to achieve the 17 goals. These goals address economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection.
What are the SDGs and which SDGs do we focus our efforts on?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of people around the world.
Among the 17 goals defined by the UN to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and combat climate change, DOMINION has identified the following objectives on which its activity may have greater relevance.
