Supply chain

At DOMINION we apply our strict environmental and social standards with all our suppliers. To this end, we have developed a Supplier Code of Conduct that they must comply with. We also expect our suppliers to implement the standards set out in this Supplier Code for their own supply chain.

Extending our ethical and environmental principles to our suppliers network

DOMINION, aware of the importance of making ethics and social and environmental responsibility a factor in its purchasing process, includes cascading its self-imposed sustainability management requirements to its supply chain as part of its Sustainability Strategy. 

To this end, it places emphasis on two aspects: 

• On the one hand, on building appropriate relationships with suppliers. These are based on mutual trust. Professionals who work in the Purchasing Department in each division act according to references such as DOMINION’s Code of Conduct, Purchasing Policy and the Anti-corruption and Fraud Policy.
• On the other hand, in extending social and environmental responsibility to the supply chain. To this end, we implement supplier approval processes, disclosing our Purchasing Policy, calling for the adoption of the General Purchasing Conditions and the signing of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Agreement, requesting sustainability self-assessment questionnaires and conducting both remote and on-site audits.

We have made an Ethical Channel available to our suppliers, which can be used to report any improper conduct.  

Specifically with regards to outsourcing, the same quality and safety requirements apply, thereby guaranteeing that our supply chain is both sustainable and responsible.
