The project seeks to improve the infrastructure and performance of storage terminals and supply plants located in the south of the country. Specifically, in the Mollendo, Juliana, Pisco, Ilo and Cusco plants.
There we will work hand in hand with Petroperu, one of the main energy players in the country, to guarantee that these facilities operate efficiently and safely, in line with the highest international standards.
During the execution phase, our specialized professionals will be collaborating with local teams, providing training and creating job opportunities in various fields, from technicians to engineers and sustainability specialists.
We are fully aware of the strategic importance of these terminals for the country's energy supply and its impact on the regional economy. Our commitment to sustainable and responsible development drives us to approach each aspect of the project with an approach focused on respect for the environment and the safety and health of the teams involved.
For this reason, we will incorporate cutting-edge technologies in the adaptation and maintenance processes, optimizing the performance and safety of the facilities and we will implement intelligent systems and energy solutions that allow us to improve efficiency and, therefore, contribute to the reduction of emissions and to minimize environmental impact.
In the petrochemical industry, our Environmental Services division has an automatic tank cleaning system that allows us to clean in half the time without requiring personnel access to confined spaces (No man entry). In addition to contributing significantly to the circular economy, recovering up to 98% of the hydrocarbons for the refining process, betting on the most advanced technology such as ATEX 0 robots that allow us to operate from a cabin and work in extreme conditions without putting the operators at risk.
We are also pioneers in mobile degassing plants that help to exponentially reduce odors and emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere. And we are present throughout the value chain of industrial waste management, such as water and sludge with hydrocarbons, ensuring their traceability at all times from collection to transport and final treatment.
