Acquisition of Tankiac, the European leader in tank cleaning
The creation of this new area finished with the recent acquisition of the Basque company Tankiac, a European leader in automatic tank cleaning and sludge centrifugation services. This new incorporation increases our capabilities in this area after the integration of the Industrial Cleaning unit of Ditecsa (formerly Befesa) in 2018 with extensive experience in projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
The incorporation of Tankiac allows us to complete our industrial services with tank cleaning and hydrocarbon recovery, one of the key activities to minimize the environmental impact of many industries. For this, it has its own technology that reduces the production of waste and the use of resources for cleaning (water, air and diesel) and allows the development of more agile and safer cleaning processes, since it avoids the presence of personnel inside the tanks during its cleaning. In addition, the company has also incorporated degassing activity to its portfolio, which allows it to eliminate dangerous gases and reduce emissions.
Energy efficiency and digitization
DOMINION also offers its customers digital solutions to monitor, analyze and control electricity, water and gas consumption in real time, with the consequent advantage in streamlining the decision making and improve energy efficiency. A service whose objective is to help industrial companies comply with environmental regulations and objectives.
In the field of industrial projects, DOMINION has extensive experience in the use and recovery of heat and in the application of technology to minimize emissions into the atmosphere.
In addition, the company continues to accumulate new projects related to waste-based energy (WtE), an alternative that contributes to the sustainable model of the circular economy by managing waste that cannot be recycled, turning it into useful energy for communities. It recently completed the commissioning of a biomass plant in Argentina and is an international benchmark in the supply and regular maintenance of refractory linings in WtE plants throughout Europe.
